MFM is a 2-year full-time postgraduate program in designing of apparel, which is the program offered by top fashion design institutes in India. The curriculum offers integrated design and management study that covers all the areas of fashion and makes you eligible for various positions under the fashion label.
In the 4-Semester course, the first year is all about addressing the core skills of fashion design i.e., trend forecasting, fabric studies, creative pattern making and draping.. Students acquire this knowledge through practice of traditional design techniques and the aid of the computer. Such practical work will be done under the guidance of experienced specialists from the industry.

Educational Background: Candidate must necessarily have a bachelor's degree in fashion design, textiles, apparel merchandising or other closely-related discipline.
Portfolio Submission: A broad portfolio demonstrating the skills in design, originality, and ideology is one of the main necessary documents for the acceptance.
Entrance Exam: Some institutions might require prospective students to take a fashion design academic aptitude test, or standardize their test scores.
Language Proficiency: Mastery in English may be needed among the international candidates applicants.
Design Aptitude Test: Candidates demonstrate their abilities in creativity, sketching, and problem-solving by participating in tasks like creating a mood board and designing clothes.
Portfolio Review: Proficiency of candidate is assessed based on the review of his/her design sketches, product development, and a creative portfolio showing the technical competence and design preferences.
Written Test: Tests the candidates' knowledge of fashion history, fabric, color and design principles.
Interview: Digs deeper into candidates' motivators, driving for fashion, current fashion trends, and fashion industry practices.
