Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting is a three years undergraduate program, which is designed to deal with different aspects of accounting, auditing, taxation and finance in a professional manner. The curriculum aims at forming cognitive understanding and gaining practical ability in accounting discipline, and also teaches financial accounting, cost accounting, tax accounting, management accounting, accounting software, financial management, business statistics, business law, and much more.
Students are taught to record business transactions, prepare statements of financial condition, analyze business data, ensure companies’ compliance with regulations, as well as provide consultancy and advisory services, and support business decision makers. The curriculum majorly focuses on basic education in primary level as well. Accounting is a practical and highly applied field, so an applied approach is used through case studies, projects and internships.

1. Achieve 50%+ aggregate in your 10+2 or equivalent exams with math, business or accountancy as major subjects and then apply for these institutions.
2. Form duly filled and required documents, such as 10 + 2 marksheet, photos, etc. should be provided.
3. Join in the entrance test of related institutions which is told by the college / university.
4. Once the list of merit is out, check if you are somehow selected for admission based on the scores you got and the availability of the seats.
5. If chosen on merit, secure admission by paying fees in the stipulated time, and finish all college or university enrollment formalities.
1. 10+2 passing or equivalent from any board with 50% marks or above.
2. Some universities, however, often take half marks in Accountancy to be one of subjects in 10+2 level as a minimum requirement.

5. One has an option or there is no age restriction for admitting in BCom Accounting.
6. Some universities offer entrance exam as an eligibility criterion while some others offer direct admission on the basis of 10+2 scores.
7. Some universities have also adopted the lateral entry system like the selection of students who come with relevant diploma or certification can also be directly selected into the Year 2 of the course.
DU JAT (B.Com): The candidates are being tested for their knowledge of accounting principles, business mathematics, and critical thinking.
NMIMS-NPAT: Ensures knowledge of financial accounting, management law, and micro economics phenomena that are directly related to Accountancy.
IPU CET B.Com (Hons): Places emphasis on cost accounting, business communication and the use of quantitative techniques in accounting.
Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET-B): It focuses on the company accounting, management accounting, and financial reporting.
