Architecture is a scientific and creative process which is connected with designing of buildings and constructions. It is an intricate field that involves architecture, design, engineering, material science, and construction to create appropriate and aesthetic human environments. An architect should also be able to be creative and possess aesthetic ability in designing and conceiving building forms; he must also be aware of structural and mechanical principles and construction methods. They range from small homes, individual residences, and villas to dynamic business buildings, including high-rise buildings and business complexes, and beautiful buildings like museums, concert halls, airports, and various sports facilities.
Animation is a technique whereby various objects and characters are developed and made to perform on the screen through drawing, carving or modeling or even computer technology. Few of the well-known animation courses that have been accepted by International Institutions are 2D animation, 3D animation, visual effects, modeling, texturing, animation filmmaking etc. Mathematics, Physics, English streams are mandatory to pursue animation courses after twelfth with a basic drawing skill.

1. NATA - National Aptitude Test in Architecture which is administered by the Council of Architecture to assess the aptitude of students who wish to pursue the BArch course.
2. IIT JEE B.Arch – B. Planning: JEE Main paper 2 is conducted for measuring the BArch and BPlanning aptitude in IITs and NITs.
3. UPSEE – Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination also considers admissions to BArch courses for colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
4. AIEEE – All India Engineering Entrance Examination also had architecture entrance test which is now known as JEE Main.
5. CEED – Common Entrance Examination for Design The Common Entrance Examination for Design or CEED is an examination for postgraduate design and architecture courses.

1. The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination in any stream – Science/Commerce/Arts with 50% marks from any Government recognized board.
2. JEE Paper 2, NATA, or entrance exams conducted by the respective state, depending on the college.
3. For BArch Mathematics is one of the subjects in 10+2 and it is mandatory as per the Council of Architecture.
4. For MArch, BArch or equivalent four year bachelor’s degree in architecture with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
5. It was also noted that there is no restriction of any sort concerning the age of a student to be admitted into architecture courses.
6. The admittance to some of the colleges needs English language proficiency scores along with the portfolio and interview.
