Priyadarshini Institute of Architecture and Design Studies (PIADS) Nagpur is an architectural college situated in Nagpur Nagpur is a city situated in the state of Maharashtra, India. With the establishment in the year 1994, PIADS Nagpur has obtained the necessary certifications from the Council of Architecture (COA) and now is affiliated with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It has been accredited by NAAC recently in 2023 and it has received ‘A’ Grade in the accreditation process. NIRF Rankings of the colleges in India 2023 have placed PIADS Nagpur in the 91st position out of the best colleges for studying architecture.
PIADS Nagpur is approved by the COA and offers a 5-year B. Arch, a 2-year M. Arch, and doctoral programmes. The intake for the B.Arch course is sixty seats. The B.Arch most significant examinations for admissions in the year 2024 include NATA exam in April and Nagpur entrance test PIADS in May/June, while the counselling will be held in July. In this case, the students have to qualify in aptitude tests conducted at national level, institute level examination and have to undertake counselling sessions depending on their merit. The M.Arch and PhD programmes are offered and the specialisations are in sustainable architecture; only a certain number of candidates are admitted via GATE scores.
The Nagpur campus of PIADS has a functional placement cell thereby leading to the recruitment of the students. Some of the major companies that come for campus recruitment and placements are Infosys, Capgemini, expression group, Enscape group, Sterling India, purple group, ultra tech cement, L & T construction, Godrej properties and Reliance industries, Tata Housing and ambuja cements and decathlon and Asian paints etc. The maximum salary we came across during the placements was of 14 LPA and the average salary is from 5-7 LPA.

PIADS is recognized by the council of Architecture and is an affiliated college of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
The B.Arch program deals with the subjects like building technology, green architecture, landscape, and designing apart from polishing the designing section. To help the students build expertise the M.Arch program has focused areas of study including Urban Design, Digital Architecture, Conservation, and Landscape Architecture.
Priyadarshini Institute get placed in various architecture, design and planning firms through the college placement cell. Some of the most prominent employers in this field are Hafeez Contractor, Morphogenesis, SSA Architects, UltraTech Cement, Larsen and Turbo Construction, Godrej Properties, etc. The maximum salary offered was INR 18 lakhs per annum by Hafeez Contractor, while the lowest salary offer ranged between INR 5-7 lakhs per annum. Nearly 85 percent of the students who came out for campus interviews and those who registered for internships secure placements every year. It is an added advantage and students have been placed both in national and international firms thus proving the good industry exposure and training offered at the institute.
