Veltech Technical University Engineering Entrance Exam

VTUEEE (VIT University Engineering Entrance Exam) is conducted as an annual entrance test by VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology) to filter and select candidates from all over the country for admissions to numerous undergraduate engineering courses offered at its campuses. The computer-based test is designed to evaluate applicants on the basis of their Knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English through aptitude. As a rule, this exam involves 80 to 125 multiple choice questions from different sections. It should be completed in 2 hours. 

The VTUEEE is one of the toughest competitions throughout the country to take part in, having 2 lakh candidates competing for 30,000 seats in the campuses at Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal. Consequently, the results shall be released 1 month after the examination session concludes. Amongst the shortlisted students, those desiring to attain the final admission shall be eligible to attend counselling rounds and are assigned seats as per their VTUEEE score and merit, in addition to the available seats.
