What is VOCLET?

VOCLET stands for Vocational Lateral Entry Test. It is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) in association with the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training. The exam is a gateway for admission into the second-year diploma courses in Engineering/Technology offered in West Bengal.

The VOCLET exam is a 2-hour pen-and-paper test consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. The questions are divided into 5 sections: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Mechanics, and Computer Science. The exam is held in both Bengali and English languages.

VOCLET 2024 Registration
