TS-DOST Telangana State Degree Online Services Telangana is a state level examination organised and held by Osmania University for allotment of seats into Bachelors’ Undergraduate Courses run by Telangana universities in the affiliated degree colleges. The objective of the interview is to give candidates a chance to be admitted into BA, BCom, BSc programs. The selection is based on the performance of an entrance test which is carried out by all the candidates. 

TS DOST test has two-levels of examination and candidates can attend the exam for more than one session if they wish to get higher scores. The examination evaluates students in general knowledge test, mathematical skills (upto class XII level), and general mental ability. The DOST TS is slated to release after every exam on the official website. Students are the ones who make it to the colleges based on their cut off marks, credit or if there are any seats available. The applications for TS DOST 2024 should start in May 2024 and the entrance test could be done in June-August for 2024. As admission cutoff date, the multiple test sessions will be arranged in last week of August 2024 for academic year 2024-25 by the end.

TS DOST Exam Preparation Tips 2024

1. Start preparing early. Be sure to give yourself at least 6 months to adequately prepare for this homeschool. The sooner you start, the better chances you will have to study all the concepts in time.

2. Allow yourself time to understand the testing modality and the curriculum. The tests are focused on the four areas: Math, Science, English Language, Abstract Reasoning, and Mechanical Aptitude which is the DOST Exam requirements. Check the handout to get prepared what is coming ahead.

3. Being an excellent reference from quality sources and materials. Buy your recommended books along with practice papers, previous years' question papers etc. NCERT books cover variety of important topics.

4. Make notes and formulae sheets in subjects-wise in order to not get confused. In addition, make an extensive course handout with all formulas, definitions etc. It will aid revision.


5. Being almost at the end of studies, solve 10 years previous papers and sample papers. Taking multiple last year examples is very important for practice reasons and knowing the exam pattern and level of toughness.

6. Check your preparation increasingly often by the means of mock tests. Doing practice tests will prepare you for the test, and give you informations about the speed and accuracy that you can acquire. It will also come to light on which areas are your weak spots.

7. One, focus on where you are weak and aim to increase your speed &c accuracy. Indicate the chapters/topics you are weak in and give them more time to be strengthened.
