Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test

MUCMET (Maharashtra Common Management Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of Maharashtra and the studying institutes of MBA and PGDM programs in the state of this state. Preserve exam is a means of giving equal ground for admission into the management programs through merit. MUCMET is a 2.5-hour offline written test comprising multiple choice questions which is aimed to test the mathematical ability, logical reasoning, and verbal ability of the candidates.

The test ranges over different sections which include quantitative methods, Rationality, English soundness and general knowledge. The official outcome of the entrance exam by MUCMET is announced and the list of successful candidates that has been prepared beforehand is made available about at least a month after since the entrance exam. The list also includes candidates who have secured the minimum cut-off and earned ranks within their preferred categories in the corresponding merit lists generated by institutes.

Following the latest notification, it is expected that the new MUCMET 2024 exam dates shall be out by November of 2023, probably to be held in February of 2024. To top all, the outcome announcement is usually displayed after 4 weeks of the exam.
