The JCECEB (combined entrance competitive examination board, Jharkhand) is the organizer of the Jharkhand Polytechnic entrance exam which is conducted for the purpose of granting admission into different Jharkhand polytechnic institutes and courses. It is a state-level entrance exam held annually, generally in the month of May or June. The college offers polytechnic courses which are diploma programs of the duration of 3 years in engineering and also in various non engineer branches like civil, mechanical, electrical, computer science, information technology, electronics and communication, mining and applied arts etc.
