The Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test (DNB PDCET) is a national-level examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India. It is designed for candidates who have completed their postgraduate diploma courses and wish to pursue further specialization in medical and surgical fields.

DNB PDCET serves as an entry point for candidates to gain admission to various Diplomate of National Board (DNB) courses across a wide range of medical disciplines. These courses offer advanced training and specialization to enhance the skills and knowledge of medical professionals.

What is DNB PDCET?

DNB PDCET stands for Diplomate of National Board Post Diploma Centralized Entrance Test. It is a countrywide-stage front examination performed by using the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admission to put up-graduate degree (DNB) courses in diverse scientific specialties.

The DNB PDCET is a pc-primarily based check (CBT) that consists of 180 more than one-choice questions (MCQs). Each query contains 4 marks and there may be a terrible marking of 1 mark for each incorrect solution. The total duration of the examination is 3 hours.

DNB PDCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

EducationMust have passed the final examination leading to the award of PG diploma from a university/institute recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI).
RegistrationMust be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the respective State Medical Council (SMC).
Date of ResultThe result of the final examination for the said Post Graduate Diploma qualification should have been declared on or before February 28, 2023.
Age LimitThere is no upper age limit for appearing for the DNB PDCET 2023.

DNB PDCET Application Form 2024

The application form for DNB PDCET 2024 will be released in the first week of March 2024. The last date to apply is the third week of March 2024. The application form will be available online on the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

To apply for the DNB PDCET 2024, you must follow these steps:

DNB PDCET Admit Card 2024

The DNB PDCET 2024 admit card will be released in the third week of April 2024. Only the successfully registered candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

To download the admit card, you must follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website of NBEMS at nbe.edu.in.
  2. Click on the "DNB PDCET 2024 Admit Card" link.
  3. Enter your login credentials.
  4. Click on the "Download Admit Card" button

DNB PDCET Result 2024

The DNB PDCET 2024 result is expected to be announced in the second week of May 2024. The result will be available on the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) at nbe.edu.in and natboard.edu.in.

To check your result, you will need to login to your NBE account using your registered username and password. Once you have logged in, you will be able to see your score and rank. The result will also be available in PDF format for download.

The DNB PDCET 2024 result will be used for admission to the DNB (Post Graduate Diploma in Medicine) programs offered by the NBEMS-accredited hospitals and institutions. DNB PDCET Counselling 2024

The DNB PDCET 2024 counselling will be conducted in the third week of June 2024. The counselling will be online and the candidates will be able to choose their preferred institution and specialty.

The counselling process will be as follows:

  1. The candidates will be ranked in merit order based on their scores in the DNB PDCET 2024 exam.
  2. The candidates will be allotted seats in the institutions based on their merit and the choices they have made.
  3. The candidates will have to participate in the counselling process in order to be allotted a seat.

DNB PDCET 2024 Counselling Schedule

The DNB PDCET 2024 counselling schedule has not yet been released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). However, it is expected to be conducted in the third week of June 2024. The counselling will be online and the candidates will be able to choose their preferred institution and specialty.
