Centralized Counselling for MSc Admission

Established by the Credit Research Foundation (CRF), the CCMN (Certified Credit Manager-New) exam functions as a qualification granted to candidates, who are finance and/or credit professionals, to assess their capabilities needed in credit management jobs. The exams are conducted in five knowledge domains which include the four major topics of financial statement analysis, business law and bankruptcy, economic issues, commercial banking and trade credit and practices. CCMN deals with entry-level certification that can be obtained by a practitioner with 4 years’experience or less. The exam is a 3 hours durational test with 150 multiple choice questions and administered in English as the language of conduct.

To pass, candidates undergo assessment whose cut-off point are 55 percent and above. Result email is sent to applicants within a fortnight of the date of the test. The people who pass the CCMN exam are issued with a certificate that is valid for 3 years of which, to remain in the line with the norm, recertification is needed. The CCMN 2024 exams will be run audibly through four testing periods in February, May, August, and November. The dates will be updated by the end of the month on the CRF website. It is recommended that candidates visit the website regularly to get information on deadlines, preparation, eligibility and appropriate policies regarding the 2024 CCMN exam series.

CCMN 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality Indian nationals only
Educational qualification Graduate with at least 6.5 CGPA (or 60% aggregate marks) in a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a subject. SC/ST/PwD candidates are required to obtain 6.0 CGPA (or 55% aggregate marks).
IIT JAM score Minimum IIT JAM score required will be announced by the CCMN authorities in due course.
Age limit There is no upper age limit for applying for CCMN counselling. However, the candidate must have been born on or before December 31, 1998, to be eligible for the 2024 session.
Other criteria Candidates who have appeared for the IIT JAM 2024 exam but are awaiting the results can also apply for CCMN counselling. However, they will be provisionally admitted and will have to submit their graduation completion certificate and IIT JAM scorecard before the final seat allotment.
