Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination

The Arunachal Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (APJEE) is an annual entrance examination for state level run by the Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Technical Education (APSCTE). This is carried out for the aspirants of engineering and architecture from various fields like the schools, colleges, organizations and universities of Arunachal Pradesh. 

The APJEE is the expression of the largest gateway of the state. The exam is set up to assess the Candidates on the subjects that include physics, chemistry, and mathematics and all of them are as per the CBSE syllabi and other state syllabi of Class 12. Same is the pen-and-paper based examination, which is conducted at lot of exam centers in various major cities of Arunachal Pradesh.

The release of prospectus for APJEE 2024 is expected to take place in the month of December, 2023. T h e application process is expected to commence in January 2024 with the admit cards is levied in March/April 2024. Ingeneral, the date of the exam falls during the third week of April every year. The results are usually sent out at the latest a month after. The dates are guided by third week of May in 2024. The following candidates go through the next stage which is counselling process and receive their seats at their desired program/college accordingly.

Documents Required for Apply APJEE Exam 2024

1. These documents are helpful as proof of age and academic achievements.

2. Aadhar Card with ID card.

3. Most recent month photograph.

4. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC)/Domcile Arunachal Pradesh or one of the identity documents can be produced as the proof of being issued with the domicile Arunachal Pradesh status. Official papers are Arunachal Pradesh State Domicile Certificate, Employers Certificate, Ration Card copy, Land Possession Certificate, and voters ID card.

5. Income certificate, if applying as a candidate from economically weaker section quota. 

6. Education – Class X or equivalent with marks of at least 50%. Caste Certificate from competent authority if applying under reserved category.

7. For PWD, competent medical authority may issue certificate to prove this condition.

8. To choose the exam center and to rank down the centers according to their importance.
