BBA Management 2024: Admission Process, Eligibility, Entrance Exams

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management is an undergraduate program that provides students a strong foundation in business concepts, principles and practices. The BBA Management course offers an intensive learning experience that you'll complete in 3 years full time divided into 6 semesters.

The BBA Management curriculum includes core courses in management principles, organizational behavior, human resource management, marketing management, financial management, business laws and ethics, operations management, statistics and economics. Similarly, students are taken to other subjects that are relevant to the field like Accounting, Computer Applications and Communication Skills

BBA Management Admission Process

1. Similar indirect effects on economic growth may also be seen. Some institutes may conduct entrance tests for admission. 

2. The application can be submitted either online or offline by clicking on the application form on the institute’s website or in the campus office . Submit documents like 10+2 marksheet, school leaving certificate, etc.

3. Admission is strictly based on the marks obtained in the merit of the qualifying exam. Some institutes consider performance in entrance test and personal interview as well. 

4. Upon getting such admission offer, candidates need to sign up for admission, pay fees as per schedule, submit academic transcripts and other documents as mentioned in the selection letter.

5. Classes commence soon after completion of admission process. Learner acquires 3 years knowledge through 6 semesters of clinical learning and practical assignments.

BBA Management Eligibility

1. Grade 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category students) in aggregate passed out from a recognized board. Students awaiting their 10+2 results can also apply.

2. The age borders don’t pop up in college systems for most of the educational establishments. Both freshers after 10+2 as well as working professionals can pursue BBA Management courses through full-time or part-time options. 

3. A few institutions do their own admission exams rather than select on the basis of JEE rank. In other cases, admissions are offered on 10+2 merit basis. 

4. While a few institutes organize interviews as well as group discussions apart from performance in 10+2, they also offer BBA admission to filter the students. 

5. Students from any stream - Arts, Commerce or Science in 10+2 can pursue BBA. What is interesting is that is not an issue in which you should decide which subjects from high school you have studied.

BBA Management Entrance Exams

DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test): Includes sections on Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English, and Business and General Awareness.

IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test): It is essentially the QA, VA, and the LR that are being conducted by IIM Indore.

SET BBA (Symbiosis Entrance Test for BBA): Tests students in four sections - General English, Quantitative, General Awareness, Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

NPAT BBA (NMIMS Programs After Twelfth - Bachelor of Business Administration): Exam will be having sections like Quantitative & Numerical Ability, Reasoning & General Intelligence, Proficiency in English Language, and General Awareness.

AIMA UGAT (Under Graduate Aptitude Test): Exam evaluates students on English Language, Numerical and Data Analysis, Reasoning and Intelligence, General Knowledge, and General Awareness.

CUET (Christ University Entrance Test): Sections involve English Language, Comprehension Skills, Verbal Reasoning, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Fundamental Mathematical Operations, Critical Reasoning and Data Analysis & Interpretation.
