1. 10+2 Pass or Equivalent: Students must have a minimum age of 17 years and must possess a 10+2 school certificate or equivalent acceptable exam certificates from any recognized board but under science, commerce or arts stream. 

2. Minimum Marks Percentage: A majority of colleges across the U.S. ask their applicants to secure at least 50%- 60% marks average (aggregate) in their 10+2 exam.
